Nirjhar Higher Secondary School – A School of Excellence. The School was born on 19th April, 2004 as an important component of “DURGAPUR CHILD CITY PROJECT” conceived by DCAC. Durgapur Child City Project is the concept integrated child development scheme it is built on 12 acres of land at the centre of the Indistrial City Durgapur with a network of education institutions, centre for performing arts, swimming pool, health centres, auditorium etc. It enjoys the blessings of Central and State Govt. local self Govt., SAIL and maestros in the field of arts, literature and culture.
